The Kikusui distillery is located in Kuroshio, Köchi Prefecture, Japan. It takes advantage of the climate favorable to the cultivation of sugar cane to cultivate its own raw material for the production of its rums.

Ryoma rum is produced from pure sugar cane juice and crafted using traditional Japanese methods. It is characterized by its fermentation, carried out using yeasts specially bred to ferment sake!
Ryoma’s atypical style also comes from very fine sugar cane, typical of Japan.

Distilled in a pot still, this rum is then aged in white oak barrels.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Marked by floral notes, the nose offers notes of white flowers, star anise and nougat.
Mouth: Full of roundness and delicacy, the palate reveals aromas of vanilla, coconut and ginger.
Finish: Fresh, the finish is distinguished by delicate citrus notes before notes of bitter molasses and chocolate come to close the tasting.

Choya Sake is a traditional Japanese wine made from local rice from Nara Prefecture, Koji yeast and mineral water. This combination creates an excellent drink that surprises with its aroma and especially its taste.

Rice, underwent a very slow fermentation at a low temperature, thanks to which the sake acquired a rich aroma. We recommend serving slightly chilled or very warm at a temperature of 7 to 50 °C.

It goes perfectly with traditional Japanese cuisine such as sashimi, sushi, teppanyaki, sukiyaki and teriyaki.

Cosmo from Mars Maltage is a blended malt that includes whisky from Shinshu in Japan. A big hit when released at the 2015 Tokyo International Bar Show, this is a permanent addition to the fledgling distillery's range.

NOSE : Vanilla and walnuts with layers of fruit: cherry and raspberry, pear and apple.

PALATE: Citrus oil leads, followed by fleshy oranges, chocolate and oaky spices.

FINISH: Fresh plums and red grapes with chocolate lingering.

Captain Morgan White Rum is created from the finest of Caribbean rums and has a crisp, clean and refreshing taste that is always worthy of the Captain's attention. Five times distilled means five times the fun.

Marvellously refreshing gin all the way from Japan! Produced by Chugoku Jozo at its Sakurao distillery, Sakurao Japanese Dry Gin is made with a selection of local botanicals including yuzu, Japanese cypress, oyster shell and cherry blossom, alongside some traditional important ingredients like juniper and coriander.

Tasting Note: Oily juniper, vegetal freshness, citrus peels with a touch of jammy orange, white pepper and a hint of vanilla.

Negrita Spiced Rum is described as being flavored with vanilla and "a hint of lemon," which suggests to us a more citrus styled drink very likely designed for dacquiri cocktails or perhaps mojitos. It is sourced from the Caribbean and then blended and bottled in France.
