This offer comes with 5 cl Naked Malt is crafted from 100% malt whisky from some of the worlds most renowned single malt distilleries, married and double-matured in first-fill Sherry-seasoned oak casks. The whisky is rich with buttery and bright nutty aromas, a smooth mouthfeel and soft flavors of fresh grain pastry, warm vanilla and creamed coffee. Named the Best Blended Malt Whisky at the 2018 Ultimate Spirits Challenge and honored with a Double Gold medal at the 2019 San Francisco World Spirits Competition., Tasting Note Nose: Smooth and oily with notes of cherry compote, buttered granary toast, malt, custard and peach. Palate: Sherried and thick with notes of sultanas, sticky toffee pudding, raspberry jam, Victoria sponge, custard and crème caramel. The Macallan treated this 18 Year Old to not just one, but two cask content-types for its maturation, released as part of the Double Cask series! Oloroso sherry was used to season a combination of both American and European oak casks, with the former imparting vanilla nuances while the latter brings that hallmark Macallan spice. Another fantastic sherried single malt from the Speyside distillery!

Tasting Notes

Nose: Dried fruit, ginger and toffee. Rich orange with hints of clove and nutmeg.

Palate: Rich raisin and sultana with notes of caramel, vanilla and ginger, balanced by wood spice and zesty citrus.

Finish: Warm oak spice with ginger, turning to sweet orange.
