Producer: Nau Mai Region: Marlborough Country: New Zealand Colour: White/Straw yellow Tasting notes: Nose: The nose has fruity aromas, accompanied by herbaceous notes. Palate: On the palate the wine is fresh, soft. Dry, high acidity, ripe lime notes, passion fruit notes, green currant notes, tomato leaf notes, hint of mineral. You can also discern gooseberry and blackcurrant notes in these wines. Crisp acids add the necessary structure, making them an ideal accompaniment to food. Food parings: Nuanced flavours combined with robust acidity make these wines an excellent match for fish and seafood dishes as well as slightly stronger flavours. Try with Finnish crayfish, clam dishes or blinis. Service temperature: Between 10 and 12°C.
