Highland Park 18 Y Single Malt Scotch Whisky – 70 cl

Named by the American whisky expert, F Paul Pacult, as ‘Best Spirit in the World’ (Spirit Journal), 18 Year Old Viking Pride is our most highly-awarded single malt whisky, being honoured with both a Gold and an Ultimate Recommendation (with a score of 96) in the 2021 International Spirits Challenge.

Matured in a high proportion of first-fill sherry seasoned European and American oak casks, this superb 18 Year Old single malt pays tribute to our 5 keystones of production and presents a sophisticated medley of ripe cherries dusted with bittersweet cocoa, freshly harvested honeycomb and candied orange peel. There’s a whisper of Orkney’s salty seaspray in the aromatic peat smoke.Please note that a gift carton is included with all 18 Year Old sales. One of the world's most popular blends, and the best-selling Scotch whisky in Scotland. Famous Grouse is a very nicely balanced, malty blend which was first made in 1896, and would go on to be known as The Famous Grouse, with the name registered in 1905. Around eighty years later, the company was awarded a Royal Warrant. The blend represents great value for money, and it also works beautiful in whisky-based cocktails. Delicious.

Swing features an elevated amount of Speyside malts, balanced by malts from the northern Highlands and Islay. On the tongue it starts off a bit sweet and then the spicy notes take affect mid-palate which exposes the smoke and peat. It has a smooth lingering smoke and spice finish. The result is a luxurious flavor that's light in the foreground, with sweet mouth-watering depth developing on the palate.

Johnnie Walker® Double Black Label™ is a scotch whisky with more Islay whisky compared to the original Black Label, and it has a more intense flavor and smoke character profile while preserving the original Johnnie Walker whisky style. It's a full-bodied drink with an alcohol concentration of 40%. Its aroma hints the smell of dry oak and light stony smoke. The orange zest and apples coupled with vanilla and spices bring freshness and softness to the tongue, giving it a generally sweet taste. Serve a measure of the Double Black Label whisky over ice cubes topped with a soft drink for a great cocktail.

The initial aroma is strong with citrus and a hint of whiskey. The palate again reveals lots of orange character, and a moderate amount of honey. Has a rich, bourbon finish that plays on the tongue and ends with a final touch of honey.
