Gurkha brand that you know today formally began in 1989, its roots trace back to 1887, when at the height of the British rule, colonial soldiers were making their own cigars from local tobacco and calling them ‘Gurkhas’ as an homage to the legendary Nepalese fighters they held so much respect for. Kaizad Hansotia encountered a Portuguese man rolling and selling cigars under the attention-grabbing name and was so intrigued that he decided to purchase his inventory and use the cigars as gifts for customers of his family’s timepiece business. After surprising success and feedback, Hansotia saw the potential in producing high-end cigars and sought out the assistance of Charlie Torano to help kick-start his new endeavor. Since then, Gurkha has become prolific in making complex and savory blends, all of which you can bet come packaged in ornate, eye-catching presentations.

| The Montecristo Anejados Magnum cigar is an exciting new blend to recommend for our well-seasoned cigar shoppers. This 6 x 60 cigar is expertly hand rolled in Honduras with an oily Ecuador Sumatra wrapper, a Dominican binder, and a core of fully aged Nicaraguan and Dominican long fillers. This exceptionally smooth, well refined medium to full bodied cigar provides rich leathery flavors, backed by nuances of sweet spice, black coffee, and some woodsy tones.
| Cohiba blue Toro cigars start with a base of Jamastran tobaccos harvested from the Mystical region of Ometepe where the tobacco comes from the hillside of the island formed by two volcanoes rising from lake Nicaragua. This type of tobacco offers a sweetness that overplays the experience of the third tobacco filler which is Piloto Cubano. The taste of the Cohiba blue is sweet with a creamy cinnamon after taste. Cohiba Blue Toro cigars are medium body, 6 inches in length with a 54 ring gauge. 20 Cigars come in a beautiful cedar lined box.
