Vinification and refinement:

Manual harvest and selection of the best bunches. Once destemmed, the grapes are sent to the spontaneous fermentation process in steel tanks at a controlled temperature and with frequent batônnage, where they will conclude the maceration lasting a total of 25 days. After racking, we proceed with the malolactic fermentation, always carried out in steel. In December, the wine is decanted into barriques, where it is matured and refined for 24 months. This is followed by a 3-month rest period in the bottle before release, which makes it a wine with exceptional expressive balance.

This Bundle Includes 3 Bottles of Nipozzano Riserva Chianti Rufina Nipozzano Chianti Rufina Riserva Bundle is the emblematic wine of Frescobaldi's Castello Nipozzano, a historic estate located a few kilometers north-east of Florence, as well as a symbol of the Tuscan winemaking tradition and the indissoluble bond with the terroir. It is a red that stands out for its wide bouquet of fruity, floral and spicy notes, as well as for being broad and round on the palate. The elegant “Flora” edition box contains 3 0.75L bottles of Nipozzano Riserva Chianti Rufina Bundle. It is equipped with comfortable carrying handles and a sliding lid. Of excellent presentation, it is an original gift idea for enthusiasts and lovers of good wine.

Bright pink color with an intense bouquet, fragrant with strong notes of fruit and hints of violet, delicate flavor with an attractive aftertaste of ripe cherries.

The grapes: 50% corvina; 30% rondinella; 10% molinara; 10% merlot from favoured sites in the Classico DOC zone, on the Veronese shore of Lake Garda.

The vinification: the grapes are picked when perfectly ripe; 70% is vinified by the rosé wine method with contact of the skins with the must for about 24 hours and the remainder by the white wine method without skin contact. The separate fermentation ensures an ideal balance between the aromas and flavours extracted from the skins. T

he wine: bright pink colour; intense bouquet, fragrant with strong notes of fruit and hints of violet, delicate flavour with an attractive aftertaste of ripe cherries.

Color: Deep ruby red Bouquet: intense, wide, fragrant with plum compote and maraschino cherries with a hint of violets.

Taste: Dry, full-bodied, warm, soft and yet very firm with a pleasant background of dried fruit and roasted hazelnuts with a long finish.

UMBRIA IGT- Santa Cristina Bianco is straw yellow in color.

On the nose intense fruity aromas of apricots, Golden apples and canned peaches blend with notes of candied fruit. Its palate is well-balanced, flavorful, fresh and supple with a fruity finish that brings back aromas perceived on the nose.

TASTING NOTES:

Nose: delicate aromas of flowers, citrus (yellow grapefruit, lime) and a mineral texture. Mouth: fresh attack, with good softness and a tasty and pleasant finish.
