The 2016 Cote a Cote from L’Aventure offers up aromas of black cherries, clove, anise and dark chocolate.

On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, rich and expansive, with a broad attack, a sweet, rounded mid-palate and a firm, chewy finish that shows a bit of stem tannin. There’s a nice juiciness and purity to this large-scaled, powerful effort that’s a blend of 55% Grenache, 25% Mourvèdre and 20% Syrah.

A premium version of Jack Daniel's Tennessee whiskey, Gentleman Jack exhibits impressive complexity and flavour. Nose: Vanilla and caramel up front with a definite undertone of aged oak. The aroma hints at the promise of some orange zest and citrus on the back end, though they don’t fully materialize.

Taste: This bourbon jumps right out of the gate on the tip of the tongue with maple and caramel flavors giving way to rye and spiciness on the middle of the tongue.

Finish: medium-length with sweet bourbon vanilla notes and hints of rye and char coming through a bit.
