Tasting Note

NOSE: Creamy butterscotch with a hint of toffee apple, candied orange, vanilla custard and newly felled oak.

PALATE: Deliciously honeyed, wood spices and citrus, balanced with raisins and caramel.

FINISH: Oak lingers, warm, sweet and drying.

Johnnie Walker 18 Year Old (or "Aged 18 Years") is a terrific blended Scotch whisky from the world-famous range, which features a combination of up to 18 different whiskies, including the likes of Cardhu, Glen Elgin, Auchroisk and Blair Athol, among others. Carefully created by master blender Jim Beveridge, this expression packs bags of creamy vanilla, vibrant fruit and runny honey, alongside soft wisps of smoke. Famous Grouse is a very nicely balanced, malty blend which was first made in 1896, and would go on to be known as The Famous Grouse, with the name registered in 1905. Around eighty years later, the company was awarded a Royal Warrant. The blend represents great value for money, and it also works beautiful in whisky-based cocktails. Delicious.
