THE WORLD’S FIRST EVER REPOSADO: At Casa Herradura, our maturation process exceeds industry standards, pushing the boundary of excellence since 1870; our Reposado Tequila has been aged in charred American White oak barrels for 11 months; 9 months over industry standard.
TEQUILA HERRADURA REPOSADO HAS 49 AWARDS INCLUDING 21 GOLDS: The original Reposado has a rich amber colour with notes of cooked agave, vanilla and butter; the additional time in the barrel creates a smooth sweet finish with a slight taste of spice.
CASA HERRADURA IS THE LAST TEQUILA-PRODUCING HACIENDA IN THE WORLD: our tequila’s signature taste is spicy, herbaceous and compex, a typical example of a lowland-style tequila derived from the 100% hand-harvested blue weber agave grown in the volcanic lowland region of Amtitan, Jalisco.
CASA HERRADURA USES A 100% NATURAL FERMENTATION PROCESS: Being a hacienda, our casa houses over 16 different species of fruit trees on the grounds; adding their own unique strain of airborne yeast to open fermentation tanks resulting in a bright, citrusy and smooth taste, making our tequila ultra premium and perfect for sipping, cocktails and gifting.
OUR HORSESHOE IS A SYMBOL OF EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY: Our distinctive horseshoe stands for Good Luck; it is carefully hand-applied during bottling, where each bottle is meticulously inspected to ensure highest-standards have been achieved.
Tasting Characteristics
