XX is the Roman numeral for twenty, in this case twenty carefully selected batches of old, (mostly twenty year old) rare malt whiskies were chosen by twenty of the worlds most gifted Malt Masters. They were invited to meticulously taste every rare barrel of whisky within the cavernous Conval warehouse at Glenfiddich (located in the famous Speyside whisky region of Scotland) and select their favourites for inclusion in the top-secret Project XX. The result is nothing short of mesmerising. The colour is burnished celtic gold, the aroma, wild apple blossom and candy floss, organic vanilla pod and cinnamon bun, the taste, sweet summer fruits, wild Scottish honey and homemade toffee. The finish is long and unforgettable, a tour de force of epic proportions that every whisky drinker should experience. Style: Smooth, Fruity and Light.

Chivas Regal 12 Year Whisky is a blend of many different malt and grain Scotch whiskies, matured for at least 12 years. This rich, smooth blend balances style with substance and tradition with a modern twist.

Color: Radiant, warm amber. Nose: An aromatic infusion of wild herbs, heather, honey and orchard fruits.

Taste: Rich and fruity, Chivas bursts with the smooth taste of ripe, honeyed apples, and notes of vanilla, hazelnut and butterscotch.

Finish: Enjoy the generous, lingering finish.

Swing features an elevated amount of Speyside malts, balanced by malts from the northern Highlands and Islay. On the tongue it starts off a bit sweet and then the spicy notes take affect mid-palate which exposes the smoke and peat. It has a smooth lingering smoke and spice finish. The Macallan Double Cask 15 Years Old is a well-balanced single malt whisky made by combining the ideal harmony of two oak casks into a single superb whisky. Sherry-seasoned American wood adds faint vanilla to the modest spice of European oak, resulting in a whisky with a sweeter, warmer flavour and character.Within one superb single malt whisky, two unique oaks produce the perfect equilibrium of flavours. The Double Cask whiskies are aged in two different content-types of oak, in hand-crafted casks that have been seasoned with dry Oloroso sherry. Vanilla, citrus, and butterscotch flavours are imparted by American oak.

The Macallan's unmistakable delicate spice comes from European oak. These two superb whiskies combine after 15 years to create a distinct single malt with a sweeter, warmer flavour and character.

Tasting Notes: On the nose, butterscotch and plump raisin, with spiced apple crumble and oak spice.

On the palate, dried fruits galore, with a dusting of cinnamon, candied ginger and orange peel. More warming ginger alongside a drizzle of honey and buttery caramel on the finish.
