This is a double distilled Calvados, which spends a decade-and-a-half ageing in Normandy, before being bottled. Fragrant and floral, with rich, oak-y qualities making themselves heard all the way through. Excellent after-dinner drinking if you’re looking for a refreshing change to a whisky or Cognac. Tasting Notes Calvados is distilled from apples in Normandy. This well-aged example still smells like fresh apple with complex notes of toffee and baked apple pie.
