THE GLEN GRANT 12 YEARS OLD

is a sublime single malt with a bright golden colour and aromas of orchard fruits and vanilla.

The palate reveals mouth-watering layers of apple pie, toffee, caramel and almonds. On the finish, soft summer fruits linger with honey and hints of spice.

In its initial year of release, our 12 Year Old won the 2016 Gold medal for 'Best Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Aged 12-13 Years Old' at the highly respected International Wine & Spirit Competition against fierce competition. A Double Gold award from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2017 followed quickly showcasing the consistent quality of our refined single malt Scotch.

Tasting notes:
COLOUR: Bright gold.
AROMA: Honey, pear and apple with hints of almonds and citrus.
TASTE: Apple pie crust, caramel and vanilla.
FINISH: Lingering fruit with subtle hints of spice.

ABV: 40%

It's a full-bodied drink with an alcohol concentration of 40%. Its aroma hints the smell of dry oak and light stony smoke. The orange zest and apples coupled with vanilla and spices bring freshness and softness to the tongue, giving it a generally sweet taste. A classic in every sense of the word, Evan Williams White Label Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey is a favourite of the back-bar around the world. Bottled at a higher ABV than the regular Evan Williams, the White Label is pleasantly warming with black pepper and cinnamon spice.

The Macallan treated this 18 Year Old to not just one, but two cask content-types for its maturation, released as part of the Double Cask series! Oloroso sherry was used to season a combination of both American and European oak casks, with the former imparting vanilla nuances while the latter brings that hallmark Macallan spice. Another fantastic sherried single malt from the Speyside distillery!

Tasting Notes

Nose: Dried fruit, ginger and toffee. Rich orange with hints of clove and nutmeg.

Palate: Rich raisin and sultana with notes of caramel, vanilla and ginger, balanced by wood spice and zesty citrus.

Finish: Warm oak spice with ginger, turning to sweet orange.

Country: Highland, Scotland ABV: 43%
